Movie Night at the Museum: Nosferatu (1922)

November 18 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

$1.00 - $5.00
Enjoy a Monday movie night in the Black Maria at the Thomas Edison Depot!

Enjoy a film in the Black Maria at the Thomas Edison Depot Museum!

Prepare for the remake coming out in December, by watching the original silent film that began the vampire film frenzy; Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror. Watch the classic silent film with a bag of freshly prepared popcorn, in our “Black Maria” theater in the Thomas Edison Depot Museum.

Referred to in The Irish Times as “the world’s first vampire film turned into one of the first major cases of film industry copyright infringement,” due to being an unofficial and unauthorized adaptation of Bram Stoker’s “Dracula,” Nosferatu is frequently sited as one of the creepiest representations of a vampire in media.

Tickets are extremely limited, given the space in the theater, so don’t miss out on this fun event and a classic film steeped in controversy. Order or call the Port Huron Museum as soon as possible!

Tickets are only $1 for Port Huron Museum Members, and $5 for General Admission.
